CYCLE TOUR ACROSS EUROPE - EPISODE 23: BAMBERG (CAPITAL OF BEER)

Today we have a late start as we have to tune into the footy at home first. We have a perfect day on undulating trails, up hills and besides the river. We actually even rode a part of the Challenge Roth bike trail today. We at first were very confused why there were so many policemen and all the roads were blocked off, but turns out it was the Roth Triathlon! Pretty lucky we left late, otherwise we would have been stuck in the spectators I think! We end up doing our longest day to date before wild camping in a trail head car park. The next day we headed into the beautiful “capital of beer”, Bamberg. We have booked an Airbnb here for 2 nights to wash all our gear and have a break from the tent. We’ve spent the last 28 nights sleeping in the tent, which we love! But after a while it can be tiring setting up and packing up everyday.
We spend our time in Bamberg tasting the local food and beer and relaxing indoors! Love, love this city, would highly recommend!
