First build (before)

Just bought this 95 Gary fisher Aquila, would appreciate any advice and mistakes to avoid when building this up. I picked up some parts to try and modernize it a bit, went with a microshift XLE 11spd drivetrain as it seemed like a decent budget option for my needs. If anyone is in the Portland Metro area and knows some good shops to look for parts please let me know, Thanks
