That was a high quality racing bike 20 years ago, but 20 years is a long time in bicycle years. Newer bikes are going to have hydraulic disk brakes, more modern components, frames with more clearance, and wider wheels. If this is going to be your primary bike, I think you could find something significantly newer in that price range.
