I'm in the process of moving all my bike components to a new frame, and I can't figure out how to get the chain from rubbing against the middle cog of the rear derailleur. The B screw is tightened all the way up, and the issue persists regardless of where I set it. This only happens when the gear is on the smallest cog as the derailleur rises when I shift down. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Chain too long
The chainstay on your new bike is shorter so you’ve got to remove a couple chain links so the chain isn’t too long. The chain being too long makes it so the derailleur can’t take all the slack out and it rubs.

Something is off with your shifting cables. They are too loose and not properly set up. Look up some videos on how to set up your derailleur by park tool. They have great videos
bike upside down which is not a best test too
