Sugino RD2 Messenger cranks and chainring can be had for under $200. Only potential downside is that it’s 130bcd, but I love the Messenger chainring so it’s a moot point.
For square taper, I can recommend the Andel Classic Track cranks. They come in 165mm and have been solid for me.
Miche has been good to me, didn’t realize how expensive they’ve gotten but can still be had under 200
Some srm power meter track cranks would be a nice budget option for daily use
Sugino RD2, 130 bcd cranks that are built as well as the 75. Chainrings are easy to come by in the 130 bcd size and so much cheaper than 144 track specific equivalents.
Affinity cranks if you want new, or hop on njs exports and see if there’s any used dura ace sets in your budget
Got Stronglight 2000 on my fixed speed commuter and quite satisfied. Sturdy with a decent look.
If in the US Wabi has $60 cranks that are on par with andel/all city cranksets. 144bcd and I cant tell the difference when I swapped from my old andel 🤷♂️
The new omniums are FSA visions
What length are you looking at running? I have a few spare sets lying around that I’d be willing to part with.
