Back in the mid-late 90s, when I was a kid, my dad ran a small BMX parts shop out of our backyard. He also got a few bikes for himself and me, and helped out a few other local kids with their projects. One of the ones he got for me was this GT Performer at a shop in the city. Based on research I think it’s a 1997, as it originally looked exactly like the article for the 1997 Perfomer on BMX Catalogue. Dad died last year and I decided I want to put it back together as a tribute to him. It’s been hanging up in the garage since probably around 2004, and I finally got around to pulling it down today. It’s in better shape than I expected, and is more complete than I expected; in order to get it functional I only really need a chain and some new tires/tubes, and some work on the front brake. I want to do a bit of restoration on it as well. Looking forward to it. Parts list in comments.

Frame, fork, and stem are all OEM. Pedals are also GT but I don’t remember if they’re the ones that came on the bike or not. Not sure what the crank is but it’s a single-piece. Could be OEM.
Dad was a big Hoffman guy and it has Hoffman Low Drag handlebars, grips, sprocket, what appears to be the seat post height adjustment thing (I forget what it’s actually called, sorry), and some dry-rotted Skid Mark tires. Also a couple Hoffman frames hanging up, a black Big Daddy (I think?) and a George that’s a very similar blue to the Performer.
Brakes are both Dia-Compe u-brakes: a Bulldog on the front and an AD-990 on the back.
Gyro is an SST Oryg.
Wheels are some regular spoked ones with Formula on the hub. Unfortunately the OEM fan blades were stolen long ago when I forgot to lock a bike that they were on at the time. I may or may not get another set of mags for it but another set of fan blades is out of my budget right now.
