Looks nice, but if you’re going to 3D print it, why not just abandon the elastic and create something that mounts around the full set post? I’ve always found the o-rings to bet terrible for mounting anything to my bike. You could probably just have it friction fit and it would stay tight enough or use a threaded insert and clamp it on the seatpost.

Looks way batter than the ones that come with the Varia to me. Only thing I can see right away that I would consider is some sort of TPU interface to sit between the mount and the seatpost and prevent it from sliding or rotating. That may not even be a problem if it is secured tightly enough by the O ring or zip tie

Since you asked:
Your print orientation isn’t ideal for this, as it’s far weaker along layer lines. Printing horizontally would make more sense for this.
But it’s looks good. Isn’t it nice to be able to make fully custom little parts like this?

As you said you‘re concerned about rattling etc. i‘m running the sloperoad mount (3d printed by them as well) no issues at all!
