Here is my Walmart Concord Envoy fixed gear build. Started building it as a joke and I wouldn’t recommend it, but I honestly I’ve had a ton of fun on the bike and it’s been a great commuter beater so far. Also, no, the frame is not even close to my size. I’m 6’2 and this frame feels like it’s for someone that’s 5’4 to 5’6

Here’s all that’s been done:

– sanded off the big concord logo

– Random Fuji branded Alexrims front wheel

– Weinmann LP18 Rear wheel w/ Origin8 Hub and 16t Dura-Ace cog and DA lock ring

– Skeace cranks + 46t deckas chainring and random aliexpress chainring bolts

– Purefix straps on super cheap nylon pedals

– 400mm Kalloy seat post w/ seat off a Scott roadbike

– Bontrager flat bars off a trek i found in a dumpster w/ some green grips

– rear tektro brake cause it wouldn’t fit in the front and the OEM brakes on this barely worked anyways

-KMC S1 chain

– 15-20 year old 23c Kendas cause i had them laying around

Overall, wouldn’t recommend buying this frameset over anything available on the used market, even if they’re about the same price.

  1. 👍🏼👍🏼Love that bike!! I have one as well. I just started upgrading. I have a weinmann dp18 rear wheel w/ coaster brake18t cog, weinmann zac19 front wheel, selle royal seat, rockbros pedals and snafu handle grips. Eventually changing the seat post, bb, crank, handlebar and stem. I have more fun with this bike than my $700 2025 Giant Cypress .
