📖 Description

I rescued this overlooked photo of Château de Chambord from 2013 — in just a few minutes and a few Lightroom masks, it came back to life. This video is all about how subtle adjustments can transform a “flat” RAW file into something print-worthy.
Chambord is one of the Loire Valley’s crown jewels, and this edit is also a reminder: sometimes our old archives still hold hidden gems, waiting for a fresh look with today’s tools.

✈️ Travel Tips — Visiting Château de Chambord

• Explore the grounds by bike: Chambord’s park is huge — cycling helps you find quiet photo spots away from the main crowds.
• How to get there: About 2 hours from Paris (train to Blois/Orléans + shuttle or short drive). Renting a car gives maximum flexibility to also visit Château de Cheverny, Chenonceau, or Chaumont-sur-Loire.
• Don’t miss the staircase: Leonardo da Vinci’s double-helix design leads to rooftop terraces — incredible for photos.
• What to eat nearby: Loire Valley goat cheese (Crottin de Chavignol), local wines like Sancerre & Chinon, and freshly baked regional tarts (Tarte Tatin, Tarte aux Pommes).
• Where to base yourself: Stay in Amboise for easy day trips to Chambord, Clos Lucé (Da Vinci’s residence), and the best of the Loire Valley.
