I think my GRX derailleur sounds not right, it seems to be louder than normal I assume. What do you think? Is the sound normal or not? I have a 2×12 GRX 820 and the bike is brand new

I’m not sure but I can’t really hear it on the speakers I’m using but I have a GRX groupset as well. Is the clutch off on the back? if the derailleur moves easily by hand it might be worth flipping the switch to make sure it’s in the up position so it’s engaged doesn’t flap about as much while riding.
