  1. By this time the franchise was not taking its lead character as seriously, and Roger Moore was just the Bond to bring us all in for a soft landing.

  2. Jaws had no lines in either film but he didn't need them. Just the presence if this absolutely enormous guy with killer teeth was all that was necessary. As you can see, in normal life Richards teeth are actually not good. In this clip, it looks like he has had some cosmetic dentistry done.

  3. Having met Roger Moore in person, I concur. Both gentlemen RIP. A story about a colleague's experience of Richard Kiel at Immigration control, London Airport (Terminal 2) around 1983. Diminutive Walter suddenly realised he had Mr Kiel at his desk and couldn't help exclaiming, "It's Jaws!". Whereupon Mr Kiel, so enormous, leant over the desk and picked Walter up, in fun!

  4. Richard Kiel and Roger Moore were perfect together. I mean, they really we're. Such, is easy to overlook, but they really were unmistakably terrific onscreen.

  5. He was not only a gentleman. He was a gentleman‘s gentleman with the gentleman‘s heart and soul. We forget that about this gentleman or gentleman‘s gentlemen in general.

  6. Such a great Bond Villian! Unfortunately. Richard fell on hard times in later life, when being called to tell him of Richard's passing, he told the family to make his funeral arrangements, and he bore the entire cost.

  7. RIP certainly in the top end of 1 of the greatest Bond villains of all time and yeah him being Jaws during Roger Moore tenure as Bond they had a very natural and how easy came off on screen dynamic with each other l just can't imagine it being the same with Connerys Bond.

  8. I remember Roger leaving a tribute to his passing, its funny if you look on line you can find Richard Kiel teaching Maths to kids. He really was the gentle giant
