  1. If you want to use clipless pedals while still being able to ride with normal shoes comfortably, get the Shimano PD-EH500.

Otherwise, you could go for MTB flat pedals. I don’t recommend the Ergon pedal, it becomes very slippery when wet or when you have snow stuck to your shoe.

Any computer from Garmin, Wahoo and the Hammerhead will do, if you asked me, I’d probably go for the Hammerhead Karoo. I think the UX is better.

You’ll struggle to find a D-lock that is secure enough to be worth carrying that also has a dedicated mount for bottle cage screws. Most are simply too heavy and could destroy the frame. You can get the mini straps from Fahrer Berlin and strap the lock to the underside of the top tube.

Or get the Texlock with the pouch and put it on the rack. You’ll then only be able to take one bag with you but it certainly works and looks better.

  2. What is this fender set? It looks clean, and I really like that matte finish. I can definitely recommend the Abus Granit X-540! It comes with a solid mount to the frame and, most importantly, it has survived 8 years in Berlin through day and night. Sometimes I even leave the bike at many U-Bahn stations!

  4. I’m curious why the frame is different than in the nuroad one fe. Obviously this is a better bike, but I like more the rack and frame (standard seat clamp) from the base model.
