Looking for a bike I can get away with for both commuting and tri racing. I’m 6’5-6’6, first road bike, I’ve always had hard tail mountain bikes. Leaning towards the Malvern Star, but open to thoughts about price, and best fit for what I’m hoping to use it for.

A 56cm frame is good for someone around 5’9 to 6′. You’d need something significantly larger. The Malvern doesn’t really look that much bigger, maybe it’s a 58cm frame or something but someone’s just stuck a long seatpost on it hence the ridiculous saddle to bar drop. I mean, that’s the good option, they could just be riding with an inch of seatpost sticking into the frame.
Never heard of Malvern bikes, but looks nice, and kind of fun to have an unusual bike. Here in Seattle Washington, I have a la Pierre and haven’t seen others around.
