Just came here to report that I had the wheel tray break on my EX-4 bike rack and Saris customer service (support@saris.com) turned to be of no use. Gave me standard response asking me to buy the replacement. Why would I buy a $1000 rack only to have to buy replacement parts with an apparent lifetime warranty. Give me one reason to buy from this company again!

I have a very similar Saris rack, about 10 years old. I’ve had two wheel trays/cups break like that. Both were because I backed into something or something ran into me. Unless it’s a brand-new rack and was like this out of the box, I think it’s unreasonable to expect a free or discounted replacement part, as a warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, not wear&tear or damage from other factors.
