I would like to make it look as nice as possible. Bike is only a year old and all main components got replaced, serviced and repaired. Any decals or plastic guards I can apply over these areas? Any way to fix the Chan guard? It’s coming off a bit.

All depends on your budget really. Upgraded drivetrain is always good, quality of life upgrades like tubeless set up is always a plus, or you could go the other route and leave this bits to him and consider a new paint job on it to freshen it up
new chainring because cassette looks new
The best way to fix that is go ride it.
Get new grips if the current ones are no good
Ibis sells replacement rubber guards for the chainstays. I can see that this one is coming off. It’s on their site under “Alloy Frame Protection Kit”.
Otherwise, look into RideWrap for this model of bike. Warning: it’s pretty tedious to put on, but worth it.
All Mountain Style make some frame protection that has texture of graphics so it’s not 100% clear. Might be a nice way to cover up some of those cosmetic scratches. If you get some larger heat shrink tubing, you can heat shrink wrap the whole crank arms, making them look a little tidier, and providing some future protection.
