Been looking for years and fbm came through with a NOS condition unit with all original stupid custom accessories. 36.5lbs, 8 speed Nexus, mid quality components, 90s MTB squirrelly handling. This was a terrible idea that I will love to suffer for.

Looks great, there are some sites where you can buy shaft drive bikes brand new for around 900€.
How does it ride? how much drag is there?
And am I right in assuming that it’s quite uncomfortable, since the frame needs to be very stiff?

Bad ideas? It’s a great idea! Why not shaft drive? Great for a low maintenance put around the neighborhood bike.
