Hadn’t completed even one ride and it already ripped.
I was zipping it up just before my first ride with it, pulled it down to straighten in up and just then, the stitching just gave up.
Quite disaappointed by maap tbh. Bought it straight from their EU site, with the fancy packaging and all ‘designed in australia’ useless info.

And you have of course consulted MAAP about this issue, right?
Their support is usually decent about this kind of thing – they shooting them a text on live chat and see what they say, worth a shot.
And yeah, never fun when things rip :/
You could get it warrantied… it’s pretty easy…
MAAP is fast fashion. It’s not meant to last, but that’s too fast.
MAAP has always seemed to be more for show than for the actual work. Get ASSOS or Castelli.
And what did customer support say?
I have had problems like this with probably once each with every major brand, and every time it’s been resolved with a quick email and an exchange. I don’t see the point of posting about it unless they refuse to warranty replace it.
For me Maap pricing doesn’t reflect their quality anymore. A few years back I would say the pricing and quality was on par but now I can’t justify their prices especially with bib shorts that go see through in a matter of months, jerseys that the lettering falls off within a few wears and the list goes on.
Having good customer service doesn’t warrant the lack of quality of the products.
I sadly agree love the brand have lots of pieces from their. But I had maybe 4-5 sessions with the thermal bibs and the print is already coming off. Thermal jersey has been wearing off its fabric from 4-5 sessions. It sucks cuz I love their brand but idk might stick to pedal mafia going forward
