Yes, you can. Tubes in tubeless rims => always. Tubeless in non-tubeless-ready rims => no. That’s why many call the rims “tubeless ready”, not “tubeless”.

Having trouble pumping them up? Is there enough sealant? Is the tire bead seated properly? If you pump and hear hissing the tire may not be completely seated, and if you hear sputtering sealant is coming through somewhere between the tire and rim. Also check your rim tape and make sure there’s no cracks in the rim that would let air/sealant out. As for tubeless to tube you would need to change out the tubeless valve (and the rim strip if you want) but tubeless rims should be able to take clinchers and tubes otherwise.

  3. I recently struggled with old tube in new tubeless tyres, bulge formed on the tyre near the inlet. I wet the gap between tubes and tyres and it slipped together.
