A Spanish Enclave in France?? Vanlife in the Pyrenees Mountains

In this Pyrenees van life adventure, we leave Villefranche-de-Conflent and head deeper into the mountains, following the route of the famous Little Yellow Train 🚂

We stop at Camping L’Enclave in Estavar – a campsite with a very interesting vibe and some rather unusual owners! Mark heads out on another epic bike ride and we also catch up on van admin – washing bedding, cleaning and all the not-so-glamorous motorhome jobs.

What we didn’t expect was to discover that the Spanish enclave of Llívia was only a 10-minute walk away. We literally walked from France into Spain 🇫🇷➡️🇪🇸 without even getting in the van.

We wandered into Llívia, grabbed a drink, explored the town and instantly fell in love with this unique place – a piece of Spain completely surrounded by France.

Sadly, we had to move on… mainly because Mark has planned something very challenging for the next day 😬
