Hello everyone,
I just started working on this allez from ‘88 that I wanted to restore and I’m having trouble removing this protective tape that the previous owner had stuck on the frame. Anyone got some tips on how to efficiently remove it?? I’m ok with scratching up the frame a bit more since I already planned to repaint it in the future. Here’s a picture:

I recently did this with a heat gun and lots of patience.
heat and strong adhesive remover. The kind that comes in tin cans from auto shops.
use hairdryer to heat up and remove. do it in sections
