They are both good rims with welded seams, the primo looks stronger to me, i have an 888 rim i like it but i think id like the primo more

Primo used to be good stuff but now it’s all crap wouldn’t trust anything primo anymore after breaking there cranks multiple times and there free coasters needing 3 full rotations to engage haven’t gotten anything good from them since the early 2000s that actually worked , cinema 888 are fine personally I ride hazard lites / Skylar’s / shadow conspiracy truss rims

The Primo VS over the Cinema all day,
VS are solid had a set on Freemix V1 & N4FL wheelset for well into 10 years now, not currently on my bike but on my little brothers.
