  1. usually i agree with police, but this varies so much. if he was riding on the road? yes he needs a drivers license. if he on the sidewalk or in a parking lot. no he doesnt need one. but i agree the video of the whole traffic stop would have been nice

  2. I think that the officer may have orgasmed when he told this poor, non criminal, that he owed nearly $500 for riding a scooter. The time for a civil war is overdue. This poor kid was half the cops size. I think that had a lot to do with his lack of respect to this human being which shows that too many cops are cowards

  3. Perfect example of a fat, coward in a position of power. This kid is and was not a threat to anybody. Once undisciplined people like this fat cop are given authority this is what happens. I bet the kid would punch this fatso cop several times before fatso even knew what was happening.

  4. That kid should simply run away from that fat coward who is not protecting society. Does anyone here think the fat cop would confront a real threat to society? Furthermore. Do you think he has a chance of catching this person if he ran? Do you think the fat cop would even bother to chase when he knows he has absolutely zero chance of catching up? Who hired this fatso and empowered him? They are equally complicit. If this kid learns anything from this interaction it’s not to trust cops

  5. Clearly this police department has no physical fitness requirement and this cop is a pathetic fatso. The kid should have ran or fought back physically. Either way he wins. Submitting to overweight authority is not the wise answer in this situation

  6. Is there any pet in this video that shows this young man with a scooter being disrespectful? No, there isn’t. Is there any part of this video that shows a violation of the law; with his SCOOTER? No there isn’t. What gives this significantly overweight officer the authority to treat this young man as a criminal and threaten him?

You blow a red lght & a car hits you. You are dead or Mangled. Be Smart & Save your own life. Imagine the Trauma.. Your seriously injured/ dead, Your Loved ones – Family , Friends are Grieving, the driver also has Trauma of watching & dealing with the aftermath . Is it Worth it??….Not stopping & Waiting? This msg is based on Truth. .. Cop shouldn't Lie to make to a point. Just saying

  9. so instead of protecting the streets from bank robberies, shoot outs, and crazy drivers u harass a kid just trying to enjoy his new scooter?

  10. Perfect example of a racist cop who is misusing the power of the law. Looks like this cop need to go back to study the law because you don’t need a license to ride an electric scooter

  11. The police officer in the video was correctly applying California law, which requires a person to be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver's license or learner's permit to operate an electric scooter on public roads.
Because the individual in the video was a teenager, the officer was within his rights to ask for proof of age and a driver's license. The relevant California Vehicle Code (CVC §21235) mandates these requirements, even though no registration or insurance is needed for the e-scooter itself.

  12. That is not true, officer. You don't need a license for a battery operated scooter. This officer is less intelligent than a small bag of walnuts.

  13. Officers are clueless on scooter even hyper and you going fast its illegal for them to ask you for license unless you or on highway then yes and they know it what a corrupt bastards they are
