Is it a good bike… for what sort of riding? If you want to get into races or triathlons, you’re already fairly fit and flexible and you’re riding predominantly on paved surfaces then sure. If you’re just dipping your toe and want to do more casual riding, getting around town and doing longer distance rides then you’d probably be better suited by a more relaxed endurance bike or gravel bike. Do bear in mind that sizing is very important to get right on a road bike too if you’re looking second hand. The best deal in the world is irrelevant if it’s for a bike you’re just going to be uncomfortable on.

Price wise, it’s quite old at this point and rim brake bikes don’t have a huge amount of appeal any more. Depending on condition, how hard it’s been ridden, how well it’s been maintained and if there’s any major scratches or scuffs, in the US maybe 500-700 at most?
