I was just cycling and i wanted to change speeds and suddenly something happened and my bike stopped working. Is there any easy way to fix this or do i have to take it to the mechanic?
What is wrong with my bike?

The chain seems to be stuck outside the gear hub. You could loosen the bolts holding the wheel and pull the chain into place on a gear.
You’re in a really odd gear. Normally you wouldn’t choose the 2 smallest rings, causing the most slack in the chain, while also being at a huge angle.
A similar gear ratio can be found using a larger ring at both ends, and your issue should go away.
The chain does not seem to be threaded properly on the derailleur
Welp it either needs a tune up (minor adjustments) or you had bad timing.
I’d wager timing. What I think happens is that you hit a “bump” or something at the worst possible time while shifting gears wedging the chain between the sprocket and the frame.
What you do ? this is probably the easiest repair! Grab a stick, put it between the chain and the frame then and pop the chain back out from where it’s wedged. Once the chain is free put it back in place on the sprocket no fuss no muss.
If it happens again within a reasonable time frame? then it may be time for a tune up.
Why a stick? well aside from it being a soft, easily accessible and well free? I like to trail ride can’t you tell from my in woods repair? I get this one more often than I’d like to admit it’s usually caused be an errant stone or other such trial debris.
Chain is stuck inbetween the freewheel and the frame. Yank it out. Your derailleur limit screws are most likely out of adjustment, and it just dropped it there when shifting to highest gear.

Your chain is not on a gear in the back pull the chain out and put it on a gear. Put the chain on this gear. Make sure the chain is on the top gear of the derailleur.
