I need help. I’m trying to research bike racks for my husband’s new gravel bike that he uses for biking around the city and have no idea what I’m doing. (I hesitate to say commuting since he is WFH)
He has the State 4130 Gravel bike and I think* he upgraded his brakes. (*Think because I’m bike illiterate and I remember him talking about this but I’m not 100%). But this one: https://www.statebicycle.com/products/4130-all-road-copper-brown-650b-700c
He asked for a “Rear bike rack – quick release would be nice” and gave no assistance as to what specs I need to follow. Can anyone help with what racks would be good?
I have found a few posts about the 4130 and racks but don’t know if they will work here. And State has NO options for rear racks for anything but their city bike (stupid imo).
These are the 2 I found that I think will work and attached are pics of his bike.

I have the same bike! I’ve been using an Ortlieb Quick Rack for about a year. It is a little fiddly to set up, but once you do it really is only a few seconds to take it on and off. Which is the main reason I got it, I don’t want to have a rack on all the time. No issues with it!
Ask on r/bikewrench
I just use the standard (not disc) Axiom Streamliner dlx on my disc Marin Muirwoods. Gives me a bit of extra room for my size 11 heels. Looks like the Allroad has a slightly longer chain stay so he may not need the setback.
The Ortlieb May be the one for the quick detach feature
