I figured the Flaremax deserved some love after 3 years of service, so it got some love. If you can’t tell, I’m a big fan of Hope, and have their brakes and cockpit stuff on several of my bikes. I figured if there was one bike to get all-in on with Hope, it was my Cotic.

Loving the 36SL now that I’ve had a few rides on it, and with one ride in on the garbaruk cassette I think it’s a great alternative to an xo or xx1, being lighter and a bit cheaper (and nice to look at!).

Absolutely gorgeous bike; I too own a Flaremax and opted for even shorter (150mm) cranks. I also run Kryptotals but will be running Teravails this year.
Beautiful bike! Why so short on the cranks? Low BB or just personal preference?
Not a day goes by that I don’t regret selling my Flaremax. Absolutely brilliant bikes.
