  1. Thanks for doing this Dan, I assume we are going to see these saddles all over the influencer space. Good to see someone in the industry doing a thorough review ⚡🤞🏼🔥

  2. Just one question, If you buy one of these saddles and it all works out fine and you have more than one bike (ah hem) can you order more saddles without going through the same process again?

  3. Actually I rode my giant tcr isp in just boxers and cotton baggy shorts. Could do a couple of hours no problem. Scott saddle. Changed bike and saddle but same dimensions transferred but can’t find a saddle as good. Never been able to find a set up as good since.

  4. Dan question is Did you send them your pressure map results. Because most people don't have access to this data and will only send them butt imprint

  5. Safe to say we’re very surprised how well this process works 🤯
Failed to mention price in the video – they start at £239 – which is very comparable to any other 3D printed saddle, and considering the amount of extra work involved in creating a custom saddle, we think that’s extremely good value

  6. Dan, As always another very informative video, but I didn't where you stated how the saddle actually felt. During your short test period was the custom 3D printed saddle equally as comfortable as your SLR Boost, more or less comfortable? Thanks

  7. They go up to 170mm wide which is right on the limit for me. Your sit bones at 106mm = 139mm saddle width. My sitbones are 135mm which equates to 177mm saddle width.

  8. Sorry to be that guy, but I wish you would’ve shown real time pressure map footage. I’m not accusing you, but Photoshop is a beautiful thing when it comes to "before & after" pics. But that’s just the cynical side of me. Sorry.

  9. I wanted to pipe in on your question. I do not use a chamois. I try to ride 15-20miles a day (retired😊). My longest stints were when I rode from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington DC, through the Appalachian range, 320 miles (km?), over 6 days. I ride my birthday every year, this year will be 72 miles!
That being said, I have never had the problems that I see on YouTube videos. No saddle sores or any more discomfort than driving a comparative time in the driver's seat. I am no cycling Adonis, 5'6" 200lbs with a pot belly 😅
But I have listened to you, James, and Neil religiously and I experiment constantly. I have never had a bike fit. And to be fair I have tried using a chamois and the feeling was not to my liking. And to spend a fortune trying to find a chamois that works is more than I can afford.
My saddle is a short nosed Ryet from China with standard upholstery (3d didn't work). I wear sueded polyester/ spandex shorts. I ride a titanium drop bar gravel frame that I wish had more stack on 40mm panaracers and carbon wheels.
If you have gotten this far thank you for listening and hopefully this tempers your opinions about chamois free riding. That saddle is very intriguing.
    Cheers

  10. I’ve got one of these. Bloody uncomfortable, to begin with. Then, gradually over 300km it started to make sense. Set up required a bit of tweaking. Most importantly, this saddle needs breaking in, it’s actually pretty firm to begin with. Posedla are brilliant, innovative and their customer services are excellent. In my case I suffer from tendinopathy and I’m riddled with hip, spine, hand and shoulder arthritis. I married the saddle with an Eesilk+ seatpost to help with pelvic and lower back pain after operations and the combo works well. Recommend if you’ve tried everything else and you’re willing to persevere with initial wriggling and squirming whilst your arse and the saddle get used to each other. A bit like a marriage really.

  11. The obvious unanswered question is, did you do a road test with the new 3D saddle? If so, will this be your new saddle going forward? I hope you at least follow up with comment with further thoughts on riding the saddle.

  12. Question to anybody that has an asymmetry (ie doesn’t sit exactly in the middle of the saddle): 1) is it common for asymmetric riders to prefer a saddle without a pressure relief channel? I didn’t feel comfortable with a channel relief so went back to one that doesn’t have one. I wonder if those customized ones would be any different.
