Alpha is lighter, nice direct skin touch and thus more breathable ime. I’d go alpha. Additionally, never been impressed with pedaled garments. They’re usually lower tier quality materials and construction. I’d go alpha vest from Maap or even consider 7mesh like the seton vest.
