I tried removing it normally but it wouldn’t budge. Eventually after trying to force in the tool with a hammer it wouldn’t slip but ended up breaking. Me and others tried everything we could including filing away and softening the plastic to pry the plastic threads from the metal ones but this did nothing it seems to just get worse. How would you guys suggest solving this? Is there a solution without ditching the frame or using drills?

Is there a chemical that will dissolve the plastic? Jesus Christ I’ve always wondered why some BBs are plastic in the first place
Plastik should be brittle now. Chisel from the outside pointing to the middle. Or use a handsaw (one where you can take out the blade) and carefully weaken the plastic. Careful not to damage the threads.
