Juat don’t use too much pressure. A garden hose amount of pressure is enough.

Yeah… don’t do that. The high pressure from a n auto wash wand will blow out the grease from your bearings and drastically reduce their effective life. Bottom bracket, headset, hub axle bearings, jockey wheel bearings (if equipped). At the very least, keep the spray selection to the spot-free rinse and just don’t squeeze the trigger on the wand.

I live by the rule of not washing by bike until it’s absolutely necessary.
But again, I don’t ride thru mud at all

Reactions to this post show general lack of understanding how important is to keep Your bike clean instead of myth to wash out grease out of bearings.
Chance for dirt and sand to destroy Your bike’s important parts is significantly higher than chance that You will wash out the grease FROM ANY bearing, while applying pressured water from the safe distance as OP mentioned in multiple responses.

I do this with my gravel bike with a pressure washer I have in the garage, just give your bearings and crank a wide birth and you’ll be fine.

Pressure washing your bike after every ride is certainly an option.
How often do you have to lube you chain? Does washing it like this every ride mean you have to lube more often or do you use a wet lube? I’m curious because I’ve been considering doing this myself. Appreciate any tips!

To add to what people are saying, yeah power washing isn’t the best. I you can go down to your local Home Depot or something similar and get a garden sprayer. [Here](https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-1-Gallon-Multi-Purpose-Lawn-and-Garden-Pump-Sprayer-1501HDXA/307766754?g_store=6553&source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&fp=ggl) is one from Home Depot that is basically exactly what I use. It gets everything off while remaining pretty low pressure.
I can just imagine what those bearing sound like…
That fork though 🤩

I hit mine with a foam cannon attachment…
Is that one of those tool-box water bottles?
