I have this one and , I got a nice 2-10 x42 Leopold fire dot scope on it and , i also have the the ruger marlin sbl 45-70 lever action and , I have a vortex viper 2-10 x42 hd fire dot on that one also . I love both of them and , are very buetiful rifles to have also .
That's not how you operate a lever gun. If you cycle the action like a limp wristed sissy, as demonstrated in this video, you will jam up the action. It's not a quick or simple fix to clear a malfunction with a lever gun. If you intend to survive with a lever gun, you better crank on that lever like you mean it.
Many if not most lever guns have halfcock hammer positions. In that position, the trigger won’t release the hammer, and a bump can’t force the hammer into the firing pin. That is the proper safety.

Which is better, Henry or Marlin?
Got mine in .357 and added a RRP peep sight to it.
Why are you wearing a plate vest? Lol
This year I killed my first bear with my dad's lever action 30-30, probably my new favorite gun
He can teach you how to shoot a gun but history education channels can’t show the nazi symbol on historically accurate gun or book replicas
Last time I checked that’s a tube not a magazine
So how do i shoot it outside of the apocalypse?
45-70 ammo too hard to find? Opt to a 357 mag, problem solved.

"Tactically acquired" I will use this from now on when talking about stealing

I’ve got a Marlin 1894 in .357 magnum. I like it, but it is a bitch to load. It will tear your thumb up.
I have had zero issues ever finding 45-70 even in remote locations its very common
Got your thumb stuck in that loading gate, huh? Why I don't wear gloves when I shoot mine!
A fool with a high power rifle cool
But i dont want to wait til the apocolypse, I want a lever gun now!
Can you do a short on showing how to switch the lever to a bigger one? Like the rifleman had?
Magazine fed is actually tube fed buddy
