I had the RH cranks for a while and when BL dropped their three arm design i was intrigued seeing as they were half the price. I got a pair for another build and these are the comparison results. The RH cranks are 171mm long and have a 52/34 setup. I replaced the chainring bolts with titanium ones and have some crank puller doodads on there. The BL cranks are stock 165 with 46/30 chainring combo. The RH cranks are a bit more svelte in come places and it shows. Even though the cranks are 6mm longer each the whole system is 17g lighter. Im not sure how that would translate if the cranks were the same length with the same chainring combo. On the driveside crank arms the RH outweighs the BL cranks by 22g. Must be the 6 extra millimeters and 10 teeth. The non driveside BL cranks out weighs the RH crank by 36g i guess its all that material they didnt remove. Anyways there you go for anyone wondering. Amusingly enough the BL cranks are actually 26g heavier the SUN XCD 172.5mm cranks they are replacing. Even with 11 bolts and 6 washers. The crankset has a TA 45/30 combo so i imagine if you got a 52/34 they would be heavier but as they sit the RH cranks still outweigh them by 8 grams.

I’m pretty drunk right now, and I can’t really reed straight. Sounds like BL cranks are lightest when you compensate for length though?

but also, who cares about 8 grams? a 40oz weighs at least 40oz? brah I got two of them in my basket.
