That’s why I cycle. To get my mind to focus on not dying instead of stressing out.
And gravel is better than road because you’re in nature and away from traffic (in my part of the world at least)

Italie is my favourite region for gravel bike! The nature, the valleys, the vibes of smalls town and all the « greens » road are incredible.
Italia nature exploring is much better then the city life in my opinion even tought the cities are beautiful.

Not much gravel on that route 🙂
You should get out to the castelli, i can ride from Albano Laziale to Valmontone almost entirely on gravel and single track (some little sections is hike a bike but still), there’s nice gravel in the Lepini mountains too, like the stuff between Norma and Cori/Rocca massima…
…and to get out here you can do the Appia antica to Frattocchie, then long climb up the road to Albano but worth it 😀 even just the ride round the lake if you haven’t done it is nice, well I still like it and I’ve done it loads 😀
