I just bought a spin bike, but I can’t seem to install the pedals correctly. How far in are they supposed to go? I assume they should be screwed in further than this?
Any tips?

Shoot , all the way. But I fear you may have crossed the treads possibly if the pedal doesn’t go in smoothly. Or or you just now need to use a tool. I always install with fingers 1st and if the treads are ez then I’m good. Then finish treading them in with a tool / wrench. But all the way in is the short answer.
