That weird ring in the middle there is a pretensioner. Find the set screw, loosen it, and tighten the pretensioner by threading it toward the bottom bracket. Then secure set screw and all good.
Edit: Just tight enough to remove the play. Not enough to cause friction.
There’s a ring in the very middle of the frame called a preload ring… look up the SRAM crankset installation instructions
