That bike brand new in 2023 was $1100. I do not think it’s a good deal.

$500 maybe. Looks like dude has an issue with the front derailleur cable so that needs to be replaced.

Looking at all the buggy whips hanging off that bike, including some uncut zip ties, I’d speculate that this person attempted to build out of the box and just gave up or they redid all the cabling and housing. Either way I’d say you’re taking it to a shop for a good once over and tune. $800 is too steep to be fixing someone else’s project.
