I’m currently running Velo Orange fenders, and I had a spare stock Brompton mud flap at home. I repurposed it and mounted it cleanly onto the Velo Orange fender so it fits perfectly.
The process is super simple! Just drill holes in the mud flap to match the fender mounting bolts on both sides, then tighten the nuts back up — that’s it.
Can’t wait to take it out on a rainy day!

I did the same for my cargobike using some garden variety of thick green plastic. Been meaning to find a black version to use on my other bikes.

Very nice! I made some out of scrap leather and aluminum Chicago screws. Very easy and fun project
I’ve done the same, with gallon milk jug plastic
I make the same thing out of thick black plastic folders. I even use plastic nuts and bolts to secure them
