Just thought I’d share my experience in case anyone else has this problem.
New Fox 34 Rhythm was not fully rebounding and only had about 80mm of travel. A common problem is the factory puts in too much grease and the grease clogs the air transfer port, causing the lower leg to build pressure and you lose travel.
Perform a lower leg build as illustrated in this video. Pay special attention that you clean any clog of grease from the tiny port inside the stanchion. Failing to do this will not solve the problem even if you remove all other excess grease. Yeah unfortunately even brand new suspension should get a quick lower service before riding it.
