  1. Not an aftermarket fork, they came with Wolf forks for a few years. The Wolf SL was recalled, the Wolf CL (aluminum steerer, I believe) was not.

    $500 is maybe okay *if* and only if you want a race bike (they are long and low, putting you in a stretched out and bent over position, they have an unforgiving ride, and can only fit narrow tires), if the chain/cassette/chain rings/cables/housing do not need replacing, and if it fits you. Any replacement parts should be at or better than original quality. Also, Cervelo (and many other brands, to be fair, who trying to hit a price point) was known for swapping out components like brakes for off-brand (that is to say, not Shimano) or doing things like putting an Ultegra rear derailleur on an otherwise 105 build.

    If it were just rebuilt, tuned up, and all wear parts were fresh, $500 would be fine if you wanted a bike to start racing.

    Otherwise, keep on looking.
