Hey bud, I know it's not the best thing to hear after you've already done the upgrade, but I don't recommend the hard side saddle on the maverick 88 frames. They tend to wear the trigger group pin hole into an oval shape after some time(I have two that I have personally had this happen to), and when that happens, it's not fixable. I would recommend going with the Velcro side saddles instead, less stress on the frame but with the same ammo stowage ability.
