Trying to build my first bike and I have a question about the brake noodle.
I’m the videos I’ve watched the noodle sticks up pretty much vertically but I can’t get mine from pointing forward.
What am I doing wrong… Do I need to shorten the housing?
Also, just to clarify… This is an Australian build, so the front brake lever is on the right hand side.

I’m looking at my bike with the cable still at that position after two years. lol. It works so nothing to worry about.
Shortening it might straighten it but also consider your cable length when turning the handlebar from left to right.
Do you have other pictures to share? I can’t tell, but your cable/housing may be longer than needed.
