  1. i have been out shooting clays n trap and im looking into getting a dedicated gun for it. your 1301 has a 21" barrel right? is that enough barrel length for sporting? bc everyone i talk to says i should go o/u with a 28-30" barrel

  2. It took about 8 seconds to make a serious safety error. Sporting clays is a 2 shot game. Loading 3 shots leaves a very real possibility of walking away from a station with a shell in the chamber.

I know he's just practicing but he's telling thousands of shooters it's ok to load extra shots. Never load more than 2 shots. It's bad practice and can result in a really bad day.

  3. Some of my lifelong buddies just got me into clay shooting last year. I'm still working with an old Lanber I picked up at a gun show recently. It needed some TLC to get it working well, but I'm at the point I can work on my skills rather than worry about the gun. That's a beautiful Beretta, though.
