Join me on a 46km cycling journey through the rolling borders of Wiltshire, Dorset, and Somerset — tracing the National Cycle Route 25 from Longleat to the edge of history.
Along the way, we pass the majestic Longleat House, one of England’s most iconic Elizabethan estates, and glimpse the wildlife of the famed safari park — all from the free-access cycle path.
The ride winds through hills and heritage, leading us to a 14th-century castle in the village of Nunney, its design echoing French influence and medieval charm.
This is more than a ride — it’s a poetic exploration of England’s layered landscapes, where every mile tells a story.

This route looks much easier that 26km hilly terrain to took on😂
Nice route. I used to cycle a few lanes that way many years ago. I always remember the lung busting climb up to Alfred’s Tower near Stourhead.
Banging out 46km like its a walk in the park! Keep it up brother! Looking forward to a little cross over of the channels. Ride safe my dude!, and will see you soon 🏕
