Marked NSFW for picture, just in case. Had my first ever fall off a bike today after commuting to my university campus for about a week. Wasn’t going fast, but it was wet outside and I took a turn too wide and just ate shit. Cushioned my fall with my head forehead. I can deal with skinned knees and my shoulder hurting, but the thing I’m a little worried about is the cut on my forehead. It’s about 2 cm long and bled a fair bit. It’s been about 5 hours now and it’s a darker color, bruised on the edges, and still bleeding a bit. I’m going to get some antibiotic cream and bandaids, but is that all I need to do or should I be cleaning it out or something?
Yes, I’m getting a helmet.

Please visit your doctor, preferably not by driving. You could be concussed. Get a helmet before your next ride.
