Hi! Above is the picture of my rear wheel. I wanted to know if I should replace it right away or it still got some miles? I’m think of replacing it just to be safe. I’m a student and on a budget. Could use some pocket friendly recommendations for wheel set.

This looks like a delamination of the rim, I wouldn’t ride this anymore, allthough hard to judge from this only picture

Yes but swap out for a good set of alloy rims they will last you years.

Is this carbon? My rule with cracked carbon is to stop riding immediately.
I think it’s clear this is not to be ridden. However, I would recommend taking it off the bike and taking the tire off as well to prevent any “oh it’s just down the block” shenanigans. I know ive ridden a bike that wasnt safe because it wasnt ‘a real ride.’
