1990 Trek 750 Multitrack

Original owner of this 1990 Trek 750 Multitrack, my first real bike. It has been through many iterations over the years, from original flat/hybrid bars, to a drop bar conversion with Suntour Command shifters in the late 90s, then converted from 7sp to 8sp with Shimano barcons and cross levers in the early 2000s.

Now, after 20+ years with drop bars, I converted back to flat/alt bars (Sim Works x Nitto Fun 3 CrMo) with Paul's thumbies for more year-round all-rounder duties, including grocery hauling using a Burley Hopper, running errands, and more relaxed bike path cruising. I recently moved right next to a bike path and am fully embracing the bike path life. I'm currently awaiting the arrival of a more appropriate Sim Works Gettin' Hungry 110mm quill stem (black) and Manivelle Basket Front Rack (black) to finish the build.

This bike got me through college in Boston, and has seen countless group rides and adventures in the 30+ years since, including several D2R2s, centuries, and vacations in Maine, Block Island, and Martha's Vineyard (riding on/off the ferry). Lots of memories on this bike, and I have every intention of making many more.
