I was in the process of assembling my bike. I braze and so I converted an early 90 GT Timberline to disc brakes. I am trying to preserve as much of the paint as possible, so I didn’t want to cut off the brake post and put a housing guide in its place. So I got to modeling and designed this 3D printed housing guide to mount to the brake post!
Attached is also a picture of the build so far. I’m going to be doing some other work for dynamo wire routing and installing a Gamoh front rack/basket that I have sitting around.

Nice job. I like the cable guide. I 3D printed something similar when I did my disc conversion. I didn’t want to cut the mounts so made some spacers and I use the mounts to support a rear rack.
dang this kinda thing makes me wanna get into 3D printing.
i love lil solutions like that that make a gamechanging difference.
That is sick
Or you could just zip tie it to the frame, or better yet zip tie it to another zip tie like a true aficionado. Just kidding, great idea and execution!
I uploaded it to Thingiverse. [Here it is.](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7276972)
Genius, thanks for sharing!
Do you have an STL file that is shareable? That’s brilliant. i converted a mid 90s giant to disk and could use more cable guides.
Honjo R clips; similar use case.
