this or that?
I'm thinking about 1×11 or 2×10? is the cues a good set? I want to go Bikepacking with additional load and I am also quite tall. so I would need the correct gears and transmission for it.
Which one would you prefer?
price is not the main concern.

40:50 is way to hard if there are mountains in your area. i prefer 1x, but max 34:51, sometimes as low as 28:51
For off-road, I greatly prefer the simplicity of 1x. That said, 40t is pretty steep for bikepacking/ loaded traveling. Ideally, I’d want a low gear around 20 gear inches or less. Most mountain setups are running a 30-34t crank. I’d still probably get the 1x setup and just swap out the crank for something smaller.
