I'm planning to overhaul my wheelset in the near future and I've run into a bit of a moral dilema:
I've been running a LHD eclat seismic hub for the past 2 years and never had issues with it. However I want to switch to a RHD hub since the sprocket hinders me trying to learn crankarm grinds and such.
The two options I've came to are ether:
-the seismic hub laced to E440 rims
-the shift hub laced to bondi rims
My question is: Do I replace the casette with a heavier rim and a hub more prone to problems for the sake of versatility?
I'm asking this because I took apart a used WTP hub (same internals) and it was busted after 2 years of riding. I got it from a friend for free and basicly all the components would need to be replaced.
TLDR: Eclat shift hub for versatility or seismic for reliability (and sound)

Just have built up the rim and hub combo you want. This is something I do Instore way more than selling pre-made wheels really.
Any free coaster or hybrid coaster/cassette hubs are more prone to issues and wear because how they operate generally just means more wear and tear than a straight up cassette.
Why not get the hubs you want with the preferred rims and lace your own wheels?
FWIW, I ride a 440 on the front and a Bondi (with cortex evo) on back. The Bondi is holding up beyond my expectations given I do 180’s every time I ride. It also endured me learning 3s on concrete.
I love my wtp hybrid hub
