it looks worn, not really glazed. wipe it with alcohol and check the rag / tissue afterwards. cant tell if its contaminated from the pic.

This looks to have a serious wear groves all over it, are you sure this is new ? It sure looks old and worn out. If you zoom into the oblong holes in the rim you can see burs from wear behind them.

All the grit and salt in the minging weather we’ve had yeah its rough on breaking surfaces. Clean with alcohol. If the brakes are working all good 👍

Not glazed. Just looks like a lot of mud riding.
